Tooth-Colored Fillings
We can remove decay from a tooth, but the enamel that was lost will still be missing. A filling can be used to replace it so that the inside of the tooth is once again protected. We make fillings out of composite resin, which is a material that can be sculpted and shaded to blend in seamlessly with the remaining enamel. It’s also more conservative than metal amalgam, meaning it can be placed on a tooth without forcing us to remove as much enamel.
Dental Crowns
Not all dental damage can be repaired with a filling. Teeth that are significantly broken or weakened require the strength and protection of a dental crown. Our crowns are made out of zirconia, which is a very durable, long-lasting material that will be designed to resemble your natural teeth as closely as possible. Zirconia is a highly biocompatible material, so you don’t have to worry about it provoking a reaction from your body or causing inflammation.
