Dr. Zach Tregre
Dr. Zach Tregre says that the best thing about his job is that he gets to meet so many people in the community, hear their stories, and just talk about life. Befriending people with different backgrounds, listening to their concerns, and being able to make a positive difference in their lives is what motivates him every day. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
It’s easy to say that Dr. Tregre was destined to become a dentist. His mother, Dr. Shawna Bland, leads our practice and has been in Pasadena for more than 30 years, and his father, Dr. Troy Tregre, is a dentist as well. While still in high school, Dr. Tregre decided to follow in his parents’ footsteps after hanging out in their offices and getting to see firsthand just how transformational dental care could be.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Just like Dr. Bland, Dr. Tregre attended the University of Houston for his undergraduate education, and he went on to earn his DDS degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. Even though he is out of school, his education continues, as he routinely completes courses through his memberships in the American Dental Association and Seattle Study Club.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Tregre is engaged to Jacqueline, and in his free time, he enjoys doing just about any activity that allows him to be outdoors. He also likes playing various sports and learning about new cars/attending car shows.
