All-Digital X-Rays
We use X-rays every single day in our office to look below the gum line so we can spot issues that might be hidden from the naked eye, including cavities, infections, and even cancer. Our all-digital X-rays take just a fraction of the time to capture compared to traditional film, plus the images are much sharper as well. Even better, the process exposes our patients (and team!) to 80-90% less radiation, allowing everyone to feel more comfortable in our office.
Biolase® Soft Tissue Laser
In the past, the only way to treat someone with advanced gum disease was to perform minor surgery, but now, our soft tissue laser makes this task much, much easier. A small wand emits a thin but highly concentrated beam of light that allows our team to precisely remove harmful bacteria from deep below the gum line while minimizing pain, swelling, and bleeding to the point of not existing. Most patients don’t even need local anesthetic to stay relaxed throughout the procedure.
